Program Achievements:
By isolating the languages skills rather than delivering integrated-skills courses, students have clear focus and instructors are able to specifically pin-point language difficulties to better help students overcome them. The curriculum was developed by linguist, Carmen Valero, with the support of the Canadian College of Educators department of language education and renowned TESL faculty. Many of Ms. Valero's curriculum designs have been implemented in Ontario language schools, secondary schools, colleges, and universities as well as in many foreign countries, including China.
“Ontario's Career College sector has had a long history of developing and providing leading edge career training to domestic students in Canada. These innovative partnerships that Willis College and Canadian College of Educators have embarked on clearly demonstrate the resourcefulness and creativity that Ontario's Career Colleges bring to the global marketplace".
Paul Kitchin, Executive Director
