WILLIS COLLEGE, in partnership with the UNIVERSITY OF WINNIPEG,
offers Prior Learning Assessment where employees can obtain credits
for work and life experience. Whether you are looking to update
your employees' IT skills and workplace skills or require your IT
professionals to enhance their skills with new business competencies
and excellent communication skills, we have a PLA solution for you.
By taking your employees' life and work experiences, the PLA Program
can offer immediate credits for up to 75% of a program and allow
your employee to quickly obtain a post-secondary diploma and university
credits.
We are pleased to announce the expansion of our Prior Learning
Assessment Program to enable full-time and part-time employees to
gain a college diploma and university credits without having to
take an extended leave from their work. Qualified employees also
may participate in a unique project developed with the first inter-provincial
partnership with University of Winnipeg and Willis College of Business
& Technology that combines an accredited university-level Management
Studies Certificate program with our post-secondary IT career programs.
Willis College is pleased to provide three different choices for
your employees:
Choice 1: Your employee may use the Willis Prior Learning Assessment
Program and receive up to 75% of a two-year equivalent post-secondary
IT diploma.
Choice 2: Your employee may take the University of Winnipeg's Management
Certificate Program. Through PLA, some credit may be given for work
experiences. Your employee gains transferable university credits
and a university certificate.
Choice 3: Your employee may select to do both choices or customize
a program.
