Lambton College and Willis College are collaborating to offer Lambton College programs in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, at Willis College.

Program Information

This two-year Business program is designed to provide the student with a practical education in preparation to work full-time in business or self-employment as an entrepreneur. Upon completion of the program, students will have an excellent set of skills upon which to build a career in business. They will be prepared for employment in basic accounting, selling, retailing, purchasing, advertising, sales promotion and general management.

Co-operative Education (Optional)

The two-year Business program offers students the option to participate in two part-time co-op placements during Semester 3 and Semester 4. The work should be program related and is expected to be between 12- 15 hours a week for 12-15 weeks.

Admission Requirements

You must meet one of the following requirements:

  1. Obtain a passing grade on the Willis College English Language Placement Test
    - or -
  2. Complete the Lambton College One-Year International Foundation Year (Pre-University)
    - or -
  3. High school graduates from other countries are welcome to apply. International applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency.

Program Features

  1. Students who attend Lambton College at the Willis College campus are considered full members of Lambton College with all of the attendant rights and privileges. Students are enrolled in the same program and will be awarded the same diploma, as students on the Sarnia campus. Students are welcome to attend the Sarnia campus to study one or more terms there if they wish.  

  2. The program integrates theoretical concepts with practical experience, providing an outstanding foundation for a career.

  3. Students benefit from the support of Lambton College and Willis College in their search for co-op positions and for employment following graduation.

  4. All graduates are eligible to apply for 2-year permit allowing them to work in Canada upon graduation.
