We are proud to post real-world web application projects that have
been done by students in the college - all for real clients.
Many other excellent ones have been created for external and internal
websites for corporations and government departments in the area.
Periodically, we will feature other work done by our students so
visit again.

Ottawa School Breakfast Program
This dynamic web-based application is dedicated to raising
money for school breakfasts for less fortunate Ottawa children.
There is a public portion and complete secure management system.
The site was produced as a collaboration of e-Commerce and
Multimedia students as well as art donated by local schools.
The project uses a number of technologies including ASP and
dynamic HTML. The College also hosts the site.

Orleans Urgent Care Center
This interactive site promotes awareness about the Urgent
Care Center, located in Orleans, near Ottawa.
This project was designed in Dreamweaver/Fireworks with a
great deal of customized code written in JavaScript and interactivity
written in the Perl programming language.

Christopher Griffin Studios
This is a site presenting the work of an excellent local
artist, Christopher Griffin.
The site was built using Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash.
From the splash page there are two versions of the site: one
in HTML, and one in Flash. The Flash side includes music of
Jazz musician Steve Koven, a friend of Christopher Griffin.
This site was completed as part of a one-week workshop of
the Multimedia Web Design class.

Kanata Timeline History
This is a site presenting the history of a city that is not
about to disappear from the memory of it's residents.
The project was done in Dreamweaver. Its very distinctive
navigation wheel was created using Flash 5. Javascript is
used throughout the site. All form interactivity, including
a guest book and a quite ingenious search engine was achieved
using CGI and Perl. It was done in a two-week interactive
workshop 1/2 way through the 48-week E-Commerce Web Developer
program.

Canadian Military Police Association
This is an e-commerce site for the members of the Canadian
Military Police Association. The site features a full password
protected area for the CMPA members, a membership form,
a guestbook, and a feedback form. In the password-protected
area, exchange of information is possible using bulletin boards
and other communication means.
This project was done in Dreamweaver. Javascript is used
throughout the site. All forms interactivity and protection
of the membership area was achieved using CGI and Perl. It
was done in a two-week interactive workshop at the end of
the second semester of the students' 48-week program.

Linda Cronin Artist Site
When an artist is also a web developer, a presentation of
artistic work can become a feast for the eyes.
This elegant project was done using a perfect blend of Dreamweaver,
Flash 5, and Javascript. It was done in a two-week interactive
workshop 1/2 way through the students' 48-week program.

Sandra Hawkins Artist Site
The artist strikes again! The team which developed this site
worked closely with the artist to express her art.

Belleville's Clarion Inn
This ongoing e-commerce project is taking on the challenge
of promoting Belleville's beautiful historic hotel. The site
present many pictures of the elegant public and private areas
of this unusual inn. A password protected area of the site
is currently under construction. This area will allow business
members to see available accommodation and prices.
All pictures where taken by the students using digital cameras.

Watercan / Eau Vive
This e-commerce application presented quite a challenge.
This non-profit organization needed a site that could be edited
by any inexperienced volunteer in the organization using FrontPage
exclusively. This limitation in design was surmounted with
a boxy yet elegant layout. It has since been updated.
This project was done using FrontPage. Javascript and DHTML
is used throughout the site. All interactivity, including
a feedback form and a donation form was achieved using CGI
and Perl. It was done in a two-week interactive workshop at
the end of the second semester of the students' 48-week program.
